SHARON HIRZEL

SHARON HIRZEL SPEARVILLE: Sharon Kay Hirzel, 70, died Sunday, October 12, 2025 at her home in Spearville. She was born on July 6, 1955 in Decatur, Illinois. Sharon worked for many years as a billing administrator for a doctor's office before earning her proudest title Mom. She enjoyed fishing, spending time with her children and grandchildren and going to softball and baseball games with Ray. In 1985 she married Raymond Hirzel in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. He survives. Survivors also include: a son, Raymond Hirzel II, Hutchinson, Kansas; brother-in-law, Virgil Hirzel and wife Ardith, Pueblo, Colorado; daughter-in-law, Ashley Ragan and her children, Aiden, Emmi and Marley; brother-in-law, Glenn Jones; nephew, Glenn Jones Jr.; great nieces, Taylor and Samantha Jones; niece, Sara Jones and her children, Heaven, Cheyenne and Marshall; nephew, Raymond Jones and his 2 children; and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Private family services will be held at a later date. There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.
