TINA DUFFY

TINA DUFFY FORD, KANSAS - Tina M. Duffy, 64, Ford, Kansas was born on July 4th, 1960 in Salina, Kansas and arrived in heaven on November 10th, 2024. Tina was the sixth child born to Matthew Duffy Jr. and Josephine (Strait) Duffy. Tina married Steve Ward in 1981 in Marquette, Kansas, where they lived for 30 years and later divorced. They shared their one and only daughter, Jennifer. Tina worked at Columbia Windows and Doors in Lindsborg, Kansas for nearly 20 years and later worked for Lindsborg Community Hospital as a housekeeper for 10 years. She loved her LCH family. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2019 and retired to spend as much time as possible with her family. Tina is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Ward) Pinkney; son-in-law, Brian Pinkney; and her 3 beautiful granddaughters: Morgan, Abby, and Emily Pinkney, all of Ford, Kansas; 2 sisters, Sue Walker, Colorado and Candy Knost, Georgia; a brother, Mike Duffy, Salina, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. Tina is also survived by her very best friend of 45 years, Linda Klein (Toots) of Salina, Kansas. She is preceded in death by both her parents, whom she missed dearly; her former spouse and friend, Steve Ward; brothers, Alan (Skip) Householter and Terry Householter; nephew, Jason Duffy, and so many great friends. Tina had many lifelong friends with whom she remained close. She was Mama T and Grandma Tina to so many who loved her. A private celebration of life will be held at later date. There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place. The family suggests memorials to the Minneola District Hospital in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
