Andrea Gayle Wise Berry, known affectionately as Andi, passed away on August 20, 2024, in Fort Payne, Alabama, at the age of 80.
Born on January 1, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio, she dedicated most of her career to helping others as a licensed clinical therapist and social worker. Andrea was known for her kindness and generosity, traits that made her a beloved sister, daughter, and friend.
She is survived by her siblings, Joe E. Wise and his wife, Barbara, of Fort Payne, AL, Jeb (Bo) W. Wise and his wife, Kimberly, of Lawrenceville, GA, and Amanda Wise Pearce of Dothan, AL. Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Phylliss Wise of Dothan, AL.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Wilson Funeral Home in Fort Payne, AL, on September 7, 2024, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. hour of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Counseling Ministry at the First Baptist Church of Fort Payne.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
