Bethany Tatum Bethany Amanda Haist-en Tatum, age 41, of Dothan, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 after an extended illness. Born March 2, 1973 in Dothan to Michael Payton and Amanda Williams Haisten, Bethany worked as the office manager for Brent McFarland at The Brace Place. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church and enjoyed travelling, cooking, and spending time with her family. Bethany was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Williams, Jr. and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Payton Haisten; and her grandfather-in-law, Donald Kelley. She is survived by her husband, Trent Tatum; her sons, Lane Tatum and Payton Tatum; her parents, Michael and Amanda Haisten; her sisters, Lori Haisten and Miranda (Robert) Haisten Thagard; her mother-in-law, Cynthia (Stan) Ferguson and father-in-law, Larry (Becky) Tatum, her grandparents-in-law, Clarence and Myrtice Tatum and Bessie Kelley; her sister-in-law, Tracey (Robert) Reed; her aunts and uncles, Claudia Meadows, Jean Greiner, and Cliff (Donna) Haisten; her niece and nephew, Rayleigh Thagard and Alex Thagard; her cousins, Robin Meadows, Tiffany Williams, Leigh Ezzel Mobley, Claude Greiner, Jay Haisten, Jamie Haisten Price, and Josh Haisten; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Covenant United Methodist Church with Reverend Kyle Gatlin, Reverend Hayes Mckay, and Reverend Billy Gant officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 9 AM until 10:45 AM at Covenant United Methodist Church. Serving as active pall bearers will be Brad Wegner, Robert Thagard, Jay Haisten, Josh Haisten, Claude Greiner, Jason Wells, Mills Carter, and Max Ward. Serving as honorary pall bearers will be Steve Enfinger, Larry Tatum, Trey Mobley, Cliff Haisten, Stan Ferguson, and Brandon Price.
