Christopher Edward Smith Funeral services for Mr. Christopher Edward Smith, age 41, of Eufaula, were held Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at 2 P.M. from Kent Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula. Rev. Joe Vickers officiated and burial followed in Creel Cemetery with Kent Funeral Home of Eufaula directing. Chris died Monday, Dec. 16, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center after a brief illness. Born July 10, 1972 in Barbour County, Chris was the son of Linda Cullifer Smith and Larry Edward Smith both of Eufaula. Chris was an outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, golf, Auburn football and Nascar. Survivors other than his parents include his grandmothers, Ethyl Smith of Eufaula and Ruby Lee Cullifer, of Baker Hill; two brothers, Joe Lee Smith and Larry Edward Smith Jr., both of Eufaula; two sisters, Heather Money Key, Eufaula and Emily Morris, St. Augustine, Fl. Ask to serve as pallbearers were Noah Dansby, Ronald Williams, Jason Key, Lee Smith, Larry Smith, Jr., Johnny Clance and Steve Baker.
