Dee McDaniel Obituary

Dee Anna McDaniel

Dee Anna McDaniel, age 77, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, OH.

She was born September 3, 1945, in Dothan, AL, to the Late John Edwin and Merle (Hodges) Sellers. She was a member of Hodgesville Baptist Church; was an avid reader; enjoyed Alabama football; and most of all spending time with family. She retired as a Respiratory Therapist.

She is survived by her son, Buddy (Joanie) McDaniel of Lewisburg, OH; grandchildren, Nathan (Lyzzy) Pitsinger of Eaton, OH and Hayley (Charley) Reed of Farmersville, OH; great-grandchild, Finley Ribbler of Eaton, OH; sister, Jane (Dr. Robert) Kirkland of Fruitdale, AL; special cousin, Vicki (Michael) Buckley of Birmingham, AL; and several nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 12:30 p.m., until time of funeral service at 1:30 p.m., at Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, OH.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Brooke-Gould Memorial Library, 301 N. Barron Street, Eaton, OH 45320. Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.
