Donald Ray Archie Donald Ray Archie of Ariton, AL passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Dale Medical Center in Ozark. He was 50. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 7 at Wooten Chapel Assembly of God with Reverend Mike Medley and Sister Wanda Medley officiating. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, December 6 from 6:00 until 8:00. Mr. Archie was born October 1, 1963 in Covington County to the late Clarence and Mary Laura Kersey Archie. He was an automotive mechanic. He was also a member of Wooten Chapel Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Archie was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ed Archie and Billy Archie. Survivors include his wife, Pattie Archie of Ariton; a son, Jonathon Fleming (Jennifer) of Ozark; 2 daughters: Bridget Smith (Robert) of Dothan and Melissa Carnley (Chris) of Elba; mother-in-law, Betty Mulkey; 6 grandchildren: Alexis, Veronica, Jayden, Chloe, Dekota, Kaleb; 2 sisters: Mary Simmons (Silas) of Elba and Brenda Ridener (Rob) of Enterprise; 3 brothers: Dennis Archie (Mary) of New Brockton, Tommy Archie (Charlotte) of New Brockton, and Doyle Archie (Brenda) of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; his Wooten Chapel church family.
