Earl Lindsey Earl Lindsey, husband of Kathryn Nowell Lindsey, Ashford, AL died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 70. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 at Union Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Rob Lightsey officiating. Visitation will immediately follow the service at the residence, 1382 Edgar Smith Rd., Ashford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity. Born in Enterprise, AL, Earl was a son of the late Mack & Mammie Fillingem Lindsey. He worked as a route supervisor with Amigas Gas Company for 20 years prior to his retirement. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis Lindsey and Huey Mack Lindsey. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his three sons, Tony (Holly) Taylor, Ashford, AL, Kim (Janice) Taylor, Cottonwood, AL, Shane Thurman, Camilla, GA; three brothers, Titus (Diane) Lindsey, Auburn, AL, Ronald (Sharon) Lindsey, Pensacola, FL, Donald (Patsy) Lindsey, Dothan, AL; three sisters, Glenda (Melvin) Andrews, Apopka, FL, Zadie (Paul) Ledford, Enterprise, AL, Caroline (Jr.) Watson, New Brockton, AL; three grandchildren, Coty Taylor, Rusty Taylor and Leslie (Lee) Welch, all of Ashford, AL; four great-grandchildren, Lexy Taylor, Tucker Watson, Annie Welch and Weston Welch and two special friends, Justin Rich-ardson and Jessica Folds.
