May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. John and I went all through school together, starting with Miss Unger's kindergarden class at McKinley Grade School in 1950, through our seniour year at Wyandotte High School. John was always a friendly, happy kid, made good grades, never a bother to his teachers, fun in sports on the playground, and I had a nice talk with him about 10 years ago at our high school reunion. I'm contacting some of our other mutual friends as they would want to know, also, as John was greatly loved and respected. I hope these words bring you and your family some consolation, and I wish the very best for you all in the coming years. Sincerely, Linda and Ronnie Breidenthal

Dear Betty and Family,
Our heartfelt condolences and prayers. John was one of the finest men I have known. His love of his faith, family and service to others are a model for us all to follow. His contribution to the lives of hundreds of thousands airmen and their families in the founding and advancement of the Community College of the Air Force leaves an enduring legacy.
Love,
Rich and Lee Tinneny
