(Jack) Watts, 85, of Grand Ridge, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 24, 1933. Jack was a veteran of the US Air Force and served his country honorably. He was a faithful Christian and member of Providence Baptist Church, a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather and great grandfather. Jack was committed to his family making sure that all knew of his support with expectations to achieve excellence. He was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with his precious family especially his children and grandchildren they were the joy of his life. The legacy of Jack's kind spirit, passion for Gator Sports and zest for life will live on through his family. Jack will be missed immensely by his family and many friends, but never forgotten. Jack is survived by his children, Chip and Laura Watts of Grand Ridge, FL; grandchildren, Crystal Watts and Jared Watts; great grandchildren, Ryan, Abby, Lauren, Hannah Kate, and Brighton; siblings, Ladon Mooneyham, Annette Tolar, Patsy Cambron and her husband Frank, Juanita Lashley and her husband Ronald; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Raino and Gladys Watts; and his wife of 53 years Joyce Hewett Watts. Visitation with family and friends will take place at Providence Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 10:00 AM CDT. A Celebration of Life Service will follow beginning at 11:00 AM CDT with Rev. Charles Kleiser and Rev. Kevin Yoder officiating and McAlpin Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow in Dykes Cemetery.
