Linda Gail Jones of Samson, AL passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. She was 64 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 20, 2022 in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva, AL with Rev. Larry Mock officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Jones was born in Coffee County, AL on September 2, 1957 to the late Allen Homer and Lillie Pearl Veasey Simmons. She loved her family and cherished every moment that was spent with them. Although she loved her children dearly, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apple of her eye.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jessica Aleaha Jones, and one grandson, Bryce Hancock.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Terry C. Jones of Samson, AL; three daughters, Carla McQuaid (Ricky) of Hartford, AL, Rebecca Barney (Jordan) of Westville, FL, and Wendy Price (Tony) of Elba, AL; one step-son, Michael Jones of Stanton, IA; 10 grandchildren, Andrew McQuaid (Summer), JoHanna McQuaid, Katelynn McQuaid, Adrianna McQuaid, Braden McQuaid, Jayce Barney, Lynn Price, Dewayne Price, Christopher Jones, and Conner Jones; six great-grandchildren, Jasper, Nevaeh, Brantley, Dexter, Markus, and Dean; four siblings, Teresa Bludsworth (Ric), Bobby Simmons (Donna), Patricia Johnson, and James Simmons; special friend, Dora Harmon, and many nieces and nephews.
