Marion Edge Obituary
His body will lie in repose at Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary, 103 West Southport St., in Dothan. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, in Patterson Street Freewill Baptist Church in Dothan with the Rev. Adolph Nobles giving words of comfort. Family and friends may call for visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15.
Gone but not forgotten, his memory will live on in the hearts of his "Mudeer," Louisa Mclain Edge, of Dothan and his father, Turner Willie Edge Sr., of Atlanta; four loving sisters, Janie Edge Wright, Elizabeth Edge, Sandra E. Morris and Rona E. Walker, all of Dothan; two brothers, Turner Willie Edge Jr., Edward Edge, both of Dothan; more than a special friend, Suzette Flucker, of Talladega. He was also surrounded by aunts Helen Mclain, Mary E. Potter and Lucy Hilsman LaGree; his godmother, Voncile Prutt; several nieces and nephews; cousins, which include the Potter, Shackaford, Hillsman, Flowers and Henry families of Dothan, the Bell family of Cottonwood, the Fritz family of Miami, the Dean Watson family of Gordon, the Lee family of Blontown, Fla.; friends, which include Cedric Dawkins and Rodney Shirel; godsisters, Sharon Brinklehy and Rena Kelly.
