Mary Elizabeth Kennedy

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Kennedy of Midland City passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015. She was 89. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church with Reverend Paul Evans and Reverend Rodney Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Ward Wilson Funeral Home from 4 to 6 P.M. Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Flowers will be accepted or donation may be made to Little Vine Baptist Church at 1558 Honeysuckle Road Dothan, Alabama 36305. Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers: James F. Peterson, Robert H. Peterson, Earl L. Peterson and Jesse R. Peterson, one son Harris Ronald Kennedy and her husband Posey Kennedy. Survivors include her son, Phillip Leon Kennedy (Diane) of Sarland, AL; grandchildren: Donna Kay Kennedy, Kenneth Leon Kennedy and Michael Kennedy; a special niece, Roxie Simmons and Bobby Simmons and special neighbors, Ralph and Ester Thomas.
