Mr. Mike W. Tillotson, a resident of Ozark, died Wednesday afternoon, January 9, 2019 in a Dothan hospital. He was 65. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in the Earl Bankston Memorial Chapel with Pastor Greg Doss and Reverend Titus Cummings officiating. Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 10 Glendale Pkwy. NE, South Tower, Suite 400, Atlanta, GA 30328. Mr. Tillotson, son of the late George Elmer Tillotson and Betty Louise Wills Tillotson, was born in Hayward, CA and grew up in San Leandro, CA. He formerly lived in Southern, California, Utah, and Arizona before returning to California in 1985. Mr. Tillotson moved to Ozark in November 2018. He attended and was active in the Shelter Cove Community Church in Modesto, CA and was affiliated with Ozark First Assembly of God Church. Mr. Tillotson was retired from Honey's Air and Solar in Modesto, CA. He was a big fan of the Oakland Raiders, and loved classic cars. He was known for his skills as a handyman. Mike could often be found wearing one of his numerous Hawaiian shirts and his favorite page boy cap. Surviving relatives include his wife of thirty years, Helen Tillotson, Ozark; four children, Paul Tillotson (Erin), Chattanooga, TN; Lisa Tillotson Bigler (Eric), Murray, UT; Colleen Stephansen (Greg), Modesto, CA and Cathy Sayers, Mays Landing, NJ; his sister, Marianne Powell (Dennis), Ozark; four brothers, Bernie Tillotson (Patty), Arnold, CA; Mark Tillotson(Lisa), Lodi, CA; Bruce Tillotson (Nancy), Vacaville, CA and Brent Tillotson (Tina), Arvada, CO; nine grandchildren, Jourdan Sayers, Derek Stephansen, Emma Stephansen, Jenna Sayers, Trey Sayers, Hannah Stephansen, Brie Tillotson, Megan Tillotson, and Anna Bigler; numerous nieces, nephews including a special niece, Danika Powell and other relatives also survive.
