Patsy Fuller Walker

Patsy Fuller Walker, 72, of Panama City Beach, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

Patsy was born on September 15, 1950, in Dothan, AL. She graduated from Dothan High School and went on to complete two years at Wallace Junior College. Patsy received an associate degree in marketing from the Fashion Institute of America and continued her marketing and business education at Ogelthrope University. She was employed by Reynolds and Reynolds Co. to conduct regional sales and marketing, and later by the Coca-Cola company to conduct marketing on a national scale.

Pat was a devoted wife who loved to read, travel and spend time in her beautiful gardens. She traveled throughout Ireland, Scotland and England. Pat loved to sail and with her husband, sailed throughout the British Virgin Islands, the reefs of Belize and along the Gulf Coast from Mobile to Fort Myers. She loved to explore the Rocky Mountains and fly fished her way through Colorado, Wyoming and Alaska. Pat was passionate about her gardens and spent much of her time growing and cultivating incredibly beautiful and exotic flowers. Even though she enjoyed a wide variety of interests and the pursuit of many activities, Pat, by her own admission, was the proudest and cherished the very most, being her husband's loving wife, partner and companion.

She fought a brave and most valiant fight for almost a year but on the evening of July 18th, Our Lord relieved her of her suffering and led her from the valley of shadows and into His Everlasting Light.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Max Fuller and Rachel Campbell Fuller.

Left to treasure her memory is her husband, Charles Ronnie Walker; stepdaughter, Tricia Leigh Walker; sister, Mackie Hottle of Panama City Beach; brother, Eric Fuller of Dothan, AL; and aunt, Mary Campbell Smith of Coffee Springs, AL.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 2:30 p.m., at Big Creek Methodist Church, 8071 S. State Hwy 605, Cottonwood, AL, with Rev Addis Habbard officiating and Mrs. Becky Lawrence providing music. The family will receive friends half an hour before the service at the church.
