Robert Roberts Obituary
Newton and a resident of Skipperville.
He was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the U.S. Army, loved hunting and fishing with his grandchildren and had friends everywhere. He will be extremely missed.
Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his father, Sherman Virgil Roberts, maternal grandparents, Lynn and Mary Freeman, paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Della Roberts. Survivors include his mother, Clara Marie Roberts of Newton; two sons, Terry L. Roberts and his wife, Brandi, of Midland City and Frankie Roberts of Dothan; one daughter, Samantha K. Roberts of Dothan; three sisters, Marie Roberts Enfinger and her husband, Dewey, of Wicksburg, Della Roberts Watson and her husband, Franklin, of Newton and Mildred Roberts McCall of Tumbleton; three grandsons, Marty Cooper, Aubrey Cooper and Kadden Roberts; three granddaughters, Arial Marie Roberts, Madison Lynn Roberts and Aaliyah Roberts.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 3, at 2 p.m. from Newton First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Frank Standifer officiating, assisted by Dr. Mike Dease. Burial will follow at the Newton City Cemetery.
Ward Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory at Memory Hill Cemetery, (334) 792-4194, is in charge of arrangements.

I always remember ROBERT doing the "Clem Cadilahopper" hop by "Red Skelton" while in High School at Dale County, alot of people will not remember that! So sorry to hear of his passing. God Bless all the ROBERTS FAMILY in the loss of ROBERT!

Robert was a very special person. My brother, Mike Brown, died in March and Robert was a pall bearer.
