Ronda Brusius Obituary
February 22, 1957 - April 17, 2025
In her time on this Earth, Ronda Rae Brusius lived many lives in many places but found her home in Alabama. She opened her heart to all she met to include them as family and left a hole in theirs with her passing. She was a steadfast mother, grandmother, and friend, who could always be counted on to remember the important details of everyone she loved and make everyone feel loved when it was important. Like all who live, she left this world too soon, but if there is her family, a quiet place to sit, and small dogs in the next one, she'll be happy and smiling forever. Surviving relatives include Erin Bassett and Emily Carlson, both of Omaha, Nebraska, Erik Carlson, St. Louis, MO, Kyle Baublitz, Nashville, TN, and Zachary Baublitz, Dothan; sisters, Cathy Merrill, Farmington, MO, Paula Owens, Mason, TN, and Krista Stutz, Houston, TX; and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Ronda was one of the first people I got to know at Jeffers. She was always kind, sweet, and offering me snacks. Truly a beautiful woman inside and out. She is very missed.

I am so sorry to hear that Ronda has passed. She is my cousin and I have a lot of memories of our younger years. It was hard to stay in touch with the distance, but we always knew what was going on through FB and how much she treasured everyone. She was always very bubbly and happy. Ms. Ronda was such a sweet sole I was blessed to get the opportunity to work with her for a short time and she made sure everyday was bright but also she was one of the funniest ladies I ever met.

I have known Ronda since grade school, such a loving, genuine, and caring person. She would give you the shirt off her back, even if she had little to give. I had numerous conversations with her after re connecting many years ago. Always a visit about her pets and grandkids, and what her kids were up to. I will miss her unique voice and her smile. She truly missed her parents, but is surely with them today. REST IN PEACE my friend.

Gee Ronda this hurts my heart you left so soon. The stories we shared while we worked together at the Jewelry Dept. at Walmart and the times we spoke up for each other while working there!! Our friendship will always be treasured, and she will always be treasured to whom she met.

Ms.Ronda, we had great conversations at work! We would always talk about scriptures, and your dad being a pastor, and how you missed your beautiful mom. Bragging on your grands, I remember when you went to Nebraska, when your Lil grandson was born and his two lil sisters was so excited. In the short time we worked together we got to know one another very well. You will be missed my friend! Sail On Silver Girl! You will be missed!
