Rosemary Wetzel Obituary
A private family service will be held in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, under the direction of Ward Wilson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Save-a-Pet, P.O. Box 9323 Dothan, AL 36304 in memory of Mrs. Wetzel.
Mrs. Wetzel was born Oct. 8, 1925, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of the late Spencer Worrall and Mary Rose Worrall. She loved to travel, playing bridge on Tuesdays and playing cards with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 57 years, Francis Wetzel of Dothan; daughters, Mary Jolly (Bill) of Dothan, Catherine Wetzel of Oklahoma; sons, John White (Martha) of North Carolina, Gerald White (Pam) of Michigan, Eric Wetzel of Dothan, Michael Wetzel (Windy) of Moulton; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
