Ruby Mae Forshee Brooks

Ruby Mae Forshee Brooks, a resident of Hartford, Alabama passes away May 24, 2019. She was 93. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Hartford Baptist Church with Rev. Les Hughes and Rev. Bruce Spivey officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartford City Cemetery with Rev. Tim McCraney presiding and under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 Sundayin the church sanctuary. Mrs. Brooks was the daughter of the late Rufus and Cleo Smith Forshee and the wife of the late James Hubert Brooks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Brooks; a son, Michael Wayne Brooks; three brothers, L. Z. Forshee, Gene Forshee, Ned Forshee; and one sister, Janice Pritchett. Survivors include a son, James Lamar Brooks (Janet); four grandchildren, Drew, Kristin, Dustin, Brandon; six great grandchildren, Tucker Brooks, Paisley Brooks, Brooks Enfinger, Ansbee Grace Enfinger, Emery-Anne Brooks, Grady Enfinger; one sister, Lorene Lairmore; and Connie Douros, mother of Drew and Dustin Brooks.
