Sara Price Tillman

Mrs. Sara Price Tillman, age 89, of Route 2, Ariton passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at her residence. She was surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, 5320 County Road 15, Ozark, AL. Rev. Jim Cordes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Church Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Clio directing. After the burial ceremony, the family will receive friends in the sanctuary at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Price, Stewart Price, Dave Price, Ashford Kettler, Ken Hartzog, Dan Hartzog. Survivors include her daughters, Gaye Shipes of Ariton; Susan (Joe)Puccio of Eufaula; Janice (Austin) Snellgrove of Margate, Florida; one son, Allen Tillman of Knoxville, TN; sister, Jean Hartzog of Clio, 10 grandchilren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Tillman and son, Terry Tillman and siblings, Lillian Kettler, Sam Price, Ann Sibert, Mack Price, James Harvey McRae.
