Shirley Smithson Obituary
Shirley Arlene Smithson, 82, passed away on March 19, 2019 at her home in Dothan, Alabama. She is survived by Philip, her husband of 50 years; three sisters, Zella Corbett, Betty Jo Marshall and Mildred Lind; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Originally from Ohio, Shirley met her husband in London, England and they eventually settled in Dothan in 1977. Shirley loved God, loved life and loved square dancing. The funeral service will be held at 10 am, Friday, March 29, 2019 at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, 205 Holly Lane, Dothan, AL. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the Church of the Nativity. Give to the departed eternal rest; let light perpetual shine upon her.
