Starla Woodham Robinson

Starla Woodham Robinson, a resident of Midland City, died early Tuesday morning, December 22, 2020, of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident which occurred near Newton. She was 63.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 28, 2020, in the Sylvan Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Michael Proffitt officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Social distancing guidelines and masks will be observed. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sylvan Grove United Methodist Church, c/o Cindy Snowden, 500 Old Newton Road, Daleville, AL 36322.

Starla Robinson was born and reared in Dale County, near Midland City, daughter of the late Oakland Woodham and Rose Paramore Woodham. She was a 1975 graduate of the Dale County High School and received a B. S. Degree in Education from Troy University. Starla lived near Midland City most of her lifetime where she was a member of the Sylvan Grove United Methodist Church. She was retired as a teacher from the South Dale Middle School in Pinckard. Starla was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Robinson.

Surviving relatives include a son, Aris Borland (Adrienne), Kalispell, Montana; a brother, Ricky Woodham (Shirley), Midland City; four grandchildren, Avalon Borland, Liam Borland, Tori Borland and Brielle Borland; a niece, Dana Shaver (Yancy), a nephew, Derek Woodham (Tanya), great-nieces and great-nephews, Leanne Moore (Chip), Lindsey Woodham, Maddie McDaniel and Joley McDaniel, Bailey McDaniel and Ben Woodham, aunts, Sharon Snowden and Martha Woodham, uncles, Willie Earl Paramore, William Paramore (Barbara), Gerald Paramore (Sandra); several cousins.
