Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. wednesday, Dec. 13, at Sorrells Funeral Home in Slocomb.
Flowers are omitted and memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Hospital Burn Center, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
Funeral services will be held at a later date through Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Lynchburg, Va.

All of us at Taylor Town Hall will miss Mr. Bill! He was always a gentleman when he came into the office, usually to purchase money orders or postage. He knew exactly how much he was buying, the cost of each item, and if we made a mistake figuring, he was quick to let us know. We enjoyed his visits, loved his stories, and he had a great laugh. He had good friends who always drove him to Town Hall, and waited while we carried on business with Mr. Bigbee. We will miss your visits at Town Hall, Mr. Bill. Sincerely, Leslie, Judy, Lu, and Barbara.
