Kay was an amazing woman and mentor. She was instrumental in my continuing education in EMS and in becoming an instructor at Blanco County EMS for a number of years as well as becoming an EVOC instructor and PEER Support traveling around the area for EMS personnel trauma. In addition, she encourage and talked me into becoming a member of a Disaster Medical Assistance Team during 9/11. She never failed to listen and give advice that usually always was the right advice. She was funny, kind, loving and friend to many. She will be missed by so many! Prayers to her family and friends.
