The family of Dorothy Angela Brac, formerly of Dundalk, Maryland, sadly announces that she was called to be with her loving husband on August 2, 2021, at the age of 86.
She was peacefully surrounded by her family, daughter, Glynnis Brac Collins and Son-In-Law, Todd Collins, of Jacksonville, Florida. Son, David Michael Brac, and Daughter-In- Law, Debbie Ford Brac, of Baltimore, Maryland. Beloved grandson, Jake Patel, of Denver, Colorado. Marcia Bowers, who was like a daughter, of Perryville, Maryland. As well as her caregivers and treasured friends, Lita DeLuna and Rene Gontenjco. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband of over 60 years, Joseph Louis Brac, who passed on June 14th, 2020.
Dorothy was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1935. She had many brothers and sisters and she grew up in Highlandtown. Dorothy and her husband raised their family in Dundalk, Maryland, before retiring to Jacksonville, Florida, for their golden years, to be closer to their family and only grandson.
Dorothy started her career as an administrative assistant at Lockheed Martin and finished as a Baltimore County Public School bus driver. She was kind, loving, and compassionate, and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Dorothy loved, keeping the coffee brewing and making buttered toast in the morning for her husband Joe, watching her grandson in his younger years, word puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by the many people who loved her.
