On 08.12.21 Dundalk native Joseph Kruse Sr (age 86) passed away at the hospital in Bedford, PA, and now joins his wife Dolores (nee Evans) for all eternity (along with their youngest son, Kenneth). The family will gather at the 11:30am Mass on Sunday, September 19th at Our Lady of Hope Church in Dundalk, to celebrate his life. (In lieu of flowers we are asking folks bring a box of cereal to be distributed to the local food bank). Afterwards we will gather at Key Brewery on Grays Rd, just down the street from our family home on Wise Ave. He is survived by 3 sons: Joey, Robert (his wife Judi), and Fr. Dave who will celebrate the Mass, 2 grandsons Jason (and Mercedes) and Jonathan (and Kristen), and of course his adorable great-grand daughter, Harper (1 year old). The family would like to thank the medical staff at Hopkins Bayview for enabling Pop to get so much more out of life because of their innovative care, most especially: Dr. Ziegelstein (and Bob), Dr. Forde and everyone at the Kimmel Cancer Center, Dr. Reifsnyder and everyone in the Vascular Clinic, and of course, Dr. Lee. We also want to thank all his friends in Dundalk, at Bethlehem Steel, and in his retirement town of Crystal Spring, PA. Pop, thanks for a wonderful life, thanks for the memories. You done did good. Rest in Peace.
