Becky Robinson Crosby

Kanab, Utah

Becky Robinson Crosby passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on March 1, 2017. Becky was born November 2, 1971 to Mitch and Vyonne Robinson of Cedar City, Utah.

Becky grew up in Cedar City. She loved dancing, cross stitching, scrap booking, card making, baking, and quilting. She graduated from Cedar High School in 1990. She served an LDS mission to Russia and the Baltic States and loved the people. She graduated from Southern Utah University with a BA in Psychology and minor in Biology. She spent many years as an EMT for Iron and Kane county ambulance. She also worked as a medical transcriptionist and most recently as an office manager for DCFS. She was married in the temple and later divorced. Becky was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has served in many positions including nursery, young women's, Relief Society, and as Primary President. She was always serving others and gave 110 percent in everything she did.

Becky is an amazing sister, daughter, and aunt. She secured her place as everyone's favorite aunt. She loved all of her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed exchanging letters with them and sending fun cards for every occasion. She enjoyed visits from her nieces and nephews, especially the past few weeks.

Becky is survived by her parents Mitchell and Vyonne Robinson of Cedar City, brother Tony (Kayleen) Robinson of Cedar City, sister Brenda (Dale) Prince of New Harmony, brother Jason (Amy) Robinson of Central Valley, sister Amber (Andy) Fabrizio of Tooele and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Hunter and Lela Gibson and Hugh and Itha Robinson. Becky's amazing personality and smile will be missed. Her positive attitude lifted all who visited her the past few weeks. Becky had a way of making everyone feel special, loved, and like you were family. Becky reminded all of us that, "It will be OK." We appreciate all of the love and support given to our family during this time. The family would like to thank Alliance Hospice, Dr. Heather Gilbert and all of the nursing staff at St. George Intermountain Healthcare Cancer Center.

I knew Becky as a neighbor and a member of my ward, and I worked with her in Primary. She had so much love for the children. The last time I saw her, she was filling in as the Primary chorister and I was the Primary pianist. We had such a good time that day. She made everything fun, and it made me happy just to be around her. What a special woman she was. I'm so thankful I knew her.

I would like to offer my sympathy to the family of Becky. I worked with Becky and came to have such great respect and admiration for her. Although we worked in different offices, I often interacted with her. She was always happy and made me feel good. She was such a genuine and sincere person. I will miss her.

Mitch & Veonne,

Hal & I are so sad to hear of Becky's death. Children just shouldnn't go before their parents. We are flying to Phoenix tomorrow for the baptism of our granddaughter so we can't attend the service. Love to you and your family.

I knew Becky while I was living in Kanab. She was fortunate to be Belinda Wire's side kick, and a dear friend of hers. I spent some time with her and Belinda, during that time with Becky I knew her as she a light and a joy to be with.

I will always cherish the memories of good (and some very hard) times with Becky. She was an amazing friend....she called us "twinners" and it often seemed true. Thank you for raising such an incredible daughter. She will be in my heart forever.

I will always cherish the memories of Becky. She was comfortable with people of all ages. She excelled in and magnified every church calling. She often went with our group to the temple. She bore her trials with amazing equanimity and faith. Although we moved from Kanab to La Verkin a few months ago, I often asked about her. Heaven got a little brighter with the return of this faithful daughter.

Robinson Family,

What can I say, other than my heart hurts to learn of Becky's passing. She was a stalwart and incredible example of encouragement and enlightenment. She served gratefully and sacrificed in love. She will be missed. Our prayers are with you all during this time. You are my second family and I feel as if I have lost my own flesh and blood sister. Please know that we are with you, as she is now taking her next phase of life and moving boundaries for those beyond the veil! We love you all and weep with you.
