Charles Junior Farrell (Charlie), 68, of Cedar City, Utah passed away at home on September 3, 2016 surrounded by loved ones after a tough and courageous fight with cancer.

Charlie was born on March 31, 1948 in Munich, Germany to his father Junior Farrell and mother Isle Theresa Antwertinger-Farrell-Lacrosse. Charlie was the oldest of three siblings and his family moved to the United States when he was 14 years old, along with his Sister, Marie and Brother, John. His family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he lived until attending college at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah where he earned a degree in Business. Charlie married Ruth Ann Nielson and moved back to Las Vegas, NV and had two sons where he worked for Westward Ho Hotel and Casino and later at Smith's Food King. In December 1996, Charlie married Veronica Salazar, and then moved back to Cedar City, Utah. Charlie was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, and enjoyed helping others around him.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife Veronica Salazar-Farrell, sons Shayne Farrell and his wife Kellie, and Ryan Farrell and his wife Maigan. He was the grandfather of five grandchildren: Jordan, Kennedy, Drew, Aidan, and Brett.

Service will be held at 11 a.m. this Saturday, September 10, 2016. The Memorial Service will be held at the Mtn. View meeting house located at 370 N. 4050 W. in Cedar City, Utah 84720.
