Susan Rosland, 67, passed away February 11, 2015 at her home in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born May 19, 1947 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to John D. Havrish and Rosemary Heyer.
Susan moved to Mesquite, NV in 2006 and fell in love with the people and the small town atmosphere. She was known for her loving heart and she loved everything about life. She was very kind and caring with everyone she met. Whenever you talked with Susan, you came away feeling better.
Susan is survived by her mother, Rosemary Havrish and her brother, Robert Havrish.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the American Cancer Society or Make a Wish Foundation. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their "Guest Book" at www.virginvalleymortuary.com

Dear Susan,
One late afternoon in the beginning of Dec 1980 I entered the the store in Hotel Radisson to ask for washing powder in sachets. You looked like a questionmark but presented an immediate solution: If you are not in a hurry I can bring some from home tomorrow.
From then on we met for something like 10 hours and these hours are absolutely the FUNNIEST HOURS of my life! I haven't laught that mouch either before nor after.
I've tried a couple of times to get in touch with you on the internet but didn't succeed. Now I was going to show a friend the reason behind such a statement and tried once again ... and was shocked Susan is no more!
Susan, wherever you are I am sincerely lucky to have met you, you gilded the most piecious hours of my life, I got to borrow your van and I left with a mind full of your stories and a suitcase full of your Christmas decorations.
