Charles Byrne Obituary
A graduate of the Barrington school system and four year varsity hockey player, a graduate of Curry College, Milton, MA, Charlie had an outstanding career in the surety industry and was a former Vice President of Byrne Bonding & Insurance, LLC. Charlie served the construction industry and was a former member of the Board of Directors for the Rhode Island Association of Building Contractors.
Charlie is survived by his parents, David and Kathleen Byrne of Dennis Port, MA, his brother and sister-in-law, David and Jill Byrne of Cumberland, RI, as well as his sister and brother-in-law Pamela and John Primpas of Westwood, MA.
He was a loving son, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and friend to all who knew him.
Calling hours will be held on Monday July 25, 2022 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside from 4-7 p.m. in Lieu of flowers, contributions in Charlie's name to Bristol Animal Shelter, 10 Minturn Farm Road, Bristol, RI 02809 would be deeply appreciated. Growing up on Copper Kettle Lane, we created some amazing childhood memories. Charlie was a great friend as a kid and I´m so happy I was able to reconnect with him just last year. It meant everything that he reached out and it meant even more that he kept reaching out. From our younger years of playing street hockey in the summer and pond hockey in the winter, to just recently having lunches at crossroads pub, Charlie is someone I will truly never forget and I will always miss dearly. My sincere condolences to his family as we lost a great man way too soon.

Dave, Kathy and family. I can´t find the words to properly express my condolences to you at your loss of Charlie. I won´t say I can´t imagine what you are going through because 15 years ago, I lost my son. It´s not something you ever get over, but it´s something you get through (with the help of friends and family). I pray that God blesses your family and gives you strength to "get through".

Mr & Mrs Byrne, i worked at Starkweather & Shepley for 18 yrs and got to know Charlie. I was heartbroken to hear about his passing at such a young age. His brother David was my manager in personal lines for the last 3 yrs prior to my retirement. My prayers are with you both and your family & and I ask God to give you the strength to get thru this horrific experience. My Mom went thru this 6 yrs ago when my brother passed at 63 yrs old. I lost her l less than a yr ago at 95 yrs old. My sincere condolences to the entire family and may he rest in peace.
