Doris Morin Obituary
Active in her church and community, she was a lector and Eucharistic Minister at St. Christopher Parish, and past president of its Womans Guild. Doris was past President of St. Paul's Priory Auxiliary, which aids the Sisters of Jesus Crucified in Newport, RI.
Doris cherished summers at "the cottage" with her family.
She leaves two sons, Pierre R. Morin and his wife Donna and Donald G. Morin and his wife Alice, all of Tiverton; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Morin (wife Jennifer), Martha O'Connor (husband Thomas), Jean Meyers (husband Patrick) and Emily Aguiar (husband Steve); ten great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Blanche (Gregiore) Charest and the sister of the late Lorraine Doucette, Yvette Belisle, Rev. Roger M. Charest, S.M.M., Romeo Charest, Henry Charest, Reina Morin and Robert Charest.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 10, from 9:00 to 10:15 A.M. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a Funeral Mass in St. Christopher Church, Tiverton, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Christopher Parish, 1554 Main Rd., Tiverton RI 02878. Online condolences at AuclairFuneralHome.com.

Sorry to learn that Doris has passed. Many of my fondest childhood memories are from the times we spent at the Morin´s. You´re in my prayers.

My deepest sympathies to Doris´ `family, friends and neighbors. Although I did not know her, I heard so much about her from my own grandchildren, who simply adored "Mrs. Morin". Stopping by her porch for a little visit after school was often times the highlight of their day. What a wonderful testament to the caring person she was. Special bonds and wonderful memories were formed, she will certainly be missed.
