Hazel Martinez

Hazel A. Martinez, 87, of Bradford Street, Bristol, passed away on Friday January 26th surrounded by people who loved her. She was the wife of the late Leonard Martinez. They had been married for 64 years before his passing.

Born in New York, New York, a daughter of the late Cesar and Ana Martinez. She had lived in Bristol for 3 years previously living in Warren for 33 years.

She had been a nurse in New York where she met her husband.

She enjoyed painting, antiquing and traveling. She was a lover of all animals, enjoyed listening to music and especially enjoyed music that made her want to get up and dance. Most of all she just loved spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves her children, Lori Sendroff and her husband Danny of Warren, Rhode Island, Steven Martinez of Miramar, Florida and Liza Casalino and her husband Joseph of Bristol, Rhode Island. She was the grandmother of Christopher Casalino. She was the sister of her only living sibling, Sylvia Parson of Lancaster, CA.
