I met Jack at his grandson Chris´ Fam Lee restaurant in Bristol, RI. I was with a friend, Philip Galarneau, whose cousin Oliver Trombley perished along with Jack´s brother Norman in a tragic boating accident back in mid sixties. We later ran into Jack at the Bristol Veterans Home where Phil & Jack sat down to play some cribbage. Jack was always to teach someone how to play. He also played with Alyssa Boyle, Supervisor of Therapeutic Activities.

Jack and Ann were my employers during high school and college in both Seekonk, Ma and Warren, RI. I loved them both although I was never an early morning person. (Indeed I was known as "Crab" to Jack's "Grinch" during those 5:30 AM donut making times!) My sympathies go out to Tony, John, and Sheila all of whom were children at the time, and their extended families. Jack and Ann were important people in my early life and added structure, fun, and laughter. So glad to read that they had further life adventures and a full life!

I have many memories of my uncle Jack, but some of the most fond were when we would visit him at his donut barn. He always let us sit in the back room and have big chocolate chip cookies the size of our face. I used to visit him and my auntie Ann at their home and we´re always greeted with love and laughter. I will miss him very much.

The first time I met Jack he was working on a jigsaw puzzle. I said, "Jack, we're going to get along just fine!" I worked as Jack's assistant (caretaker), and we became good friends. We enjoyed playing cribbage (he won most of the time!), working on jigsaw puzzles watching movies, and going to the zoo. He loved the bird show! I will miss you, my friend, but I know that you are finally with your Annie again!
