My sincere sympathy for your loss. Bob offered valuable legal services to my parents for which they and I were always grateful. He was also a valued fried to my brother Henry Randall Iii who greatly looked forward to the times they played golf together.

I am so sorry to hear about your father. He certainly always had a smile on his face which was contagious. I can still picture your lovely family home in O. w. His life story is beautiful. Sending prayers. Jane Slattery Curran

A great memory from about a decade ago .....
I'm fighting my way through a snow storm, waiting at a stoplight in my car on route 99. About three feet ahead of me, an icy white snow caked bicyclist rolls to a stop and puts his arm out for the turn. Sure enough, it was Bob! Later that week, I saw Ami at rehearsal and shared my story. She laughed out loud, rolled her eyes, and said, "Bob probably wanted to mail a letter! I've given up trying to stop him!"

Ami, Sydney and family,
Wes and I were saddened to read of Bob´s death, but were delighted to read the story of his life. There were many things that we learned about him in the write-up. Thanks to all of you for a fascinating description of his life. We know he will be missed by many people. We know he will be remembered by all who see the rock walls and flowers gracing your house. And I recall our recorder lessons and hope he continued to play.
We find ourselves living in Greenville SC in a retirement community after almost 20 years in the nearby mountains of NC in the town of Brevard. Ami, you might be interested in the fact that I sang with several choral group there, as well as playing flute in the local symphony. Wes and I both continued our running regime, although it soon became a walking regime, as old knees protested running.
Sydney, Scott and family live in Omaha, where he is on the faculty of Creighton University teaching Spanish history. He is still into running, running every day and
running a few marathons when he has time.
Our condolences to your family on your loss.

Bob was always one of the good guys. His broad and sincere smile were always present during our visits. His quick wit and sense of humor will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace sweet man. I'll see you later on the Golden Bridge. All my love to you Ami. XO
