Zalia O'Blenis Obituary
Zalia was a longtime waitress at the Wharf Tavern and taught many young people how to waitress, while her husband would be occupying the pool tables.
Zalia is survived by her son, Weldon J. O'Blenis of Warren, RI; her daughters, Gail Wing of Jamestown, RI, Bonnie Dion of Rehoboth, MA, and Patricia O'Blenis of Seekonk, MA. She was the sister of the late Dennis J. Arruda and Hilda Luciano.
Services are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Rd. Warren, RI, where the family will receive relatives and guests for Visitation on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 4-7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10AM in St. Mary of the Bay Parish, 645 Main St. Warren, RI. A Burial will follow at St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Greenlawn Ave. Warren, RI.
