My condolescenes to the family. I had been out of touch with Adele for about a year now since she first learned of her health project. I offered my help, but as you know she had to do it her way. Lately, I had been wondering how she had been and I must have intuitively known that she was making her transition. It was very hard to let go of a client of four years who I had gotten to know fairly well. I know that she adored her family and friends very much. Whenever, something was on her mind about her loved ones, she would not hesitate to let me know. It was an honor to get to know her and work on her. May her spirit continue to soar ahead! I miss you Adele! With Love, Tomasa

Hi! I'm Lenore Pfeffer Koppel from Cleveland, a near contemporary of Adele"s. My daughter, Ruth, who lives in San Jose, saw the obit in this morning's paper, called, and then we locaated it on the Internet. I didn't know that Adele was ill, though the last time I saw her was in 2005 or 2006, when I was visiting my family in San Jose. We met for dnner and talked about you girls, the family, etc. I don't think I've ever met either of you. We both were teaching in Cleveland Heights in the 50's; then we both went on and broadened our horizons while still staying in Education. So sorry to learn of Adele's passing. Many condolences.......

My dear friend has moved on with all the grace and poise she showed throughout her life. Those of us who had the special joy of knowing her keep her memory in the landscape of our hearts.
