Alan Scott Mikesell

Alan Scott Mikesell Age 64, of Galt, died Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at his home in Galt. Scott was born March 19, 1941 in Ovid, Michigan to Arthur Leeroy and Sheila Mary (Cronin) Mikesell. Scott attended Michigan State University, where he studied Computer Science. Scott was retired from Dow Chemical Company where he worked as a Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst for 27 years. His career moved his family west from Michigan to California, where he resided from 1974 until his death. Scott was a follower of Jesus and showed this in his sacrificed attitude toward his family, friends & strangers. His legacy will live on through his children Shelly (Mikesell) McMillan, Kevin Mikesell, and Karen (Mikesell) LeVake and his seven grandchildren, all of whom he loved very much. Scott had one sister Beverly (Mikesell) Houser & three brothers, Arthur Maynard, Russell Thomas & James Patrick. Scott was married to Nancy Buck for 26 years when they parted in 1990. He was currently very happily married for the past 14 years to Deborah (Blakley) Mikesell They enjoyed traveling and he had recently obtained citizenship in Ireland, his mothers native country. Friends & family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at 1pm at Golden Hills Community Church in Brentwood, CA.
