Albert Fajardo Obituary

Albert Fajardo, Jr., 52, passed away peacefully at his home in Pinole, California on Thursday night, October 31, 2002 due to complications associated with liver cancer and diabetes. A dedicated teamster, Albert's life was marked by his generous spirit and passion for his family, friends and local sports teams. Albert is survived by his wife of 23 years, Debra Ann Fajardo, his daughter Nicole Fajardo, his mother Maclovia Fajardo, his brothers Jim Fajardo, Luciano Fajardo, Ricardo Fajardo and his sister Petra Fajardo, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 3rd from 2:00pm - 6:00pm at the Wilson & Kratzer funeral home in Richmond, California at 455 24th Street. A memorial service will be held at the same location in the Civic Center Chapel of Wilson & Kratzer at 12:00 noon on Monday, November 4th. A private family burial service will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in San Pablo, California. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Foundation.

our family has known Al for many many decades, he was a friend to us all, he played baseball with Mike Matthews, which is our dad, and i told my dad of the sad news and he asked me to send a notice saying how much he regrets to see his friend pass on. We are truly sorry to hear of this, may god always bless his soul. sincerely all of us Mike, Frances, Kristine, Leann, Lahoma, and Amy Matthews. I pray that your family will be at the most ease as when a loss is the hardest thing to deal with, We have lots of pictures when we were all young and also when Nicole was just a baby, we lived in Napa at the time and Al and most of the team would join in celebrations with us at our home, i remember the good ole days when we had the best of times, I am now 32 years old and I can say that I remember him well, hope everyone in your family will remember us as I'm sure you would, take care friends.
