Alice H. Kramer

ALICE H. KRAMER Widow of Brigadier General Hans Kramer, passed away in San Mateo on March 22, 2002, at the age of 96, five months after the death of her only child, Hans Harvey "Bunny" Kramer. Her daughter-in-law, Linda Kramer of Cleveland, grandchildren Hans and Jordyn Kramer of Walnut Creek, and nephew Henry Harvey of North Carolina survive her. Born in Webb City, Missouri to Oliver and Nellie Kerr Harvey, Alice worked in Washington as secretary for Congressman Dewey Short before marrying General Kramer in 1939. The family moved to San Mateo in 1946. Alice was a Life Master in the American Contract Bridge League, active in the Thrift Shop at the Episcopal Church of San Mateo, enjoyed travel and her contacts with Army friends worldwide. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, April 1, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno.
