Alice "Speedy" Speed

8/5/17 - 12/9/08 Resident of Alameda, CA 91 years young, Alice Speed passed away in Alameda, CA December 9, 2008. Alice was born in Idaho and lived most of her adult life in Alameda running Speed's Automotive, a business started with her late husband. A business she loved and retired from. She was raised by her loving adoptive parents David and Lena Fulkerson in Idaho where she also completed her schooling. Alice was very active in the Elks, Soroptomists of Alameda and many other worthwhile charitable organizations making a difference in Alameda, which she loved. Alice is survived by her loving Step-Daughter Joan Cook of Georgia and her also loving Daughter-in law Donna Speed of Auburn, CA, wife of her late adored Step-Son Dick Speed. She is also survived by many loving Grandchildren in Georgia, Washington, Nevada, Utah and California. Numerous Great-Grandchildren and many Great-Great-Grand children all of whom adored her wit and humor. "Speedy", "Grandma", will be dearly missed by her many many friends that enjoyed a life of golf, partying and traveling with Alice. Cremation arrangements are being made and handled by Greer Family Mortuary in Alameda, interment to be private at Alta Mesa Cemetery joining her beloved late husband Harry Speed. United again. There will be no services per her request.
