Armando B. Freitas Sept. 11, 1949 - June 3, 2010 Resident of Fremont Entered into rest on June 3, 2010 at the age of 60. Loving husband of 39 years to Lina M. Freitas of Fremont. Devoted father to Kelly M. Freitas of Fremont. Beloved brother to John B. Freitas of Newark. Dear uncle to 3 nephews and 3 nieces. Survived by his mother-in-law Hilaria Borges of Fremont. Also survived by his sister-in-law Maria Costa and her husband Ernesto. Predeceased by his parents Mateus and Maria Freitas. Born September 11, 1949 in Azores, Portugal, Armando was a member of the S.E.S. Holy Ghost Committee of Newark and enjoyed golf. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 7, 4-8pm with a rosary at 7pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 8, 10:30am at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Avenue, Newark, 94560. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward.
