Bob Glidden Obituary

Bob Glidden Bob Glidden, 84, passed away October 15, 2004 at his home in Rossmoor. Bob is survived by his wife, Phyllis, Bob's children, Clifford, Timothy, Roberta, Patricia and Norman, Phyllis's daughters, Susan and Linda, 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and sister Mary. Bob's beloved wife of 59 years, Wanda, preceded him in death in 2001. Raised in San Francisco, Bob married Wanda Schultz in 1942. Bob was past president of the South SF Rotary Club and District Governor from 1974-1975. In retirement, they moved from Hillsborough to Volcano, CA, enjoying the country, their cabin and friends at Bear River Reservoir, and traveling extensively around the world. After Wanda passed away, Bob was blessed with a second love, recently marrying a family friend from Hawaii, Phyllis Rieder. A self-made man with a passion for living fully, Bob inspired many with his strong beliefs in family, fun, setting goals, and service to others. Memorial services will be held on Sat. 11/13 at 2 pm, in the Diablo Room at Rossmoor.
