Clark Gabler Obituary

Clark Frank Gabler Sept. 1917 - June 2007 Resident of San Pablo Clark died peacefully in his sleep after a week of severe illness. He is survived by his wife, Marion; and nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the Shady Lane Nursing Home staff for the excellent care and attention they gave him. He joined the calvary before WWII then transfered to the Army Air Corps as a mechanic in Iceland. He retired from Jacuzzi Pump 27 years ago, and spent more time with his favorite hobby - traveling. He climbed Mt. Olympus in Greece to celebrate entering his 70s. He loved traveling in Europe, England and Mexico. He will be remembered for his positive attitude, friendly nature and his love for card games and hiking. A memorial service will take place Sept. 13, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Moose Lodge, 13233 San Pablo Ave., San Pablo.

I am uncle clarks niece Kathie and have just found out of his passing in 2009. My childhood memories are rich and full of laughter. He had a big heart but had a different way of expressing himself. Thank you Marion for taking such care of him. Kathie

I as a resident of San Pablo, used to watch Clark and his wife take a daily walk with their dog. He will be missed by all at his place of residence.....Rest easy.....Pam
