Claudia Margaret Scanlon

CLAUDIA MARGARET SCANLON 2/17/46 - 4/28/06 A kind, gentle, caring and tender woman who brought joy, love and happiness to all who graced her life. A native of Livermore she lived in Alameda County and Contra Costa County for 50 years, and was a resident of Solano county for the last ten years. She loved to travel, golf and shop and her trips to Cache Creek. She loved the company of her friends, to some of whom she was a second mom & some she was a best friend. But her greatest love was her family. She is survived by her husband Michael Scanlon of Vacaville, her daughters Susan Timm (Ray) of Dublin, Jennifer Couch (Matt) of Tracy, Erin Suess (Randy) of Altadena; her five grandchildren: Stephanie & Christopher Timm, Travis, Jeffrey & Melanie Couch. She is also survived by her twin sister Virginia Tavares (Paul), her foster brother Barry Nelson and foster sister Lennea LaHommedieu (John); her sisters-in-law Sheila Wilkins, Eileen Fazio and Joan McAuley (Pat), her mother-in-law Joan Scanlon, 10 nieces & nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother and father Lloyd and Edna Gray, her brother Michael Gray, her foster parents Clarence and Virginia Nelson and her father-in-law Michael Scanlon. Her family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, comfort and love. Services: Wednesday, May 3 at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home in Fairfield 5-9pm, Visitation 6:30pm, Rosary 7:30pm at Christ the King Catholic Church in Pleasant Hill Thursday and Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the King Friday 10:30am. Committal at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette.
