Darrel Eugene Turner

Darrel Eugene Turner passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the age of 76 years, in Martinez, CA. Darrel was born in Contra Costa County, CA, on March 15, 1947, to Clarence and Helen Turner, both of whom preceded him in death. Darrel attended Contra Costa College in where he met Suzanne Turner. They were married June 8, 1968. Darrel was a Vietnam Veteran working as a Mechanic and after worked at the Muir Island shipyard working on submarines. Darrel enjoyed taking pottery classes at Contra Costa College, as well as walking and creating pathways at Bayfront Park in Pinole. He leaves behind a loving family, two sons, David Turner of Richmond CA, Stephen Turner, and daughter-in-law, Natalie, of South Carolina, 7 grandchildren, Adonis, Julian, Alana, Eris, Katie, Moonya, and Mia, and a great grandson, Liam. He also leaves behind sisters, Winnie Baed and Elaine Redwine, sister-in-law, Diane Houseken, as well as countless friends and family. A private memorial will be held for family.
