Darrell Dsire DeBo April 17, 1938 - March 7, 2005 Born in Oakland to Des and Jill DeBo. Attended St. Cyril's Grammar School and graduated from Bishop O'Dowd, Class of 1956. Loving spouse of Judy for 45 years. Loving father of Darrell L., Daniel B., Kim, and also leaves behind two grandchildren, daughter-in-law Leslee, nieces and nephews. Darrell's most proud achievements were playing on Bishop O'Dowd's baseball team. There are still home run records at O'Dowd that have not been broken that he made. He retired in 2002 from Superior Coffee. He has resided with his family in Hayward for 32 years. Coached and umpired Treeview Little League. His sense of humor and love of life will remain always in our hearts. A memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward on Friday, March 11, 2005, at 1:30 p.m. Darrell passed away peacefully on March 7, 2005, at Kaiser Hospital with his family by his side. Darrell was a grandfather figure to my children, Michael, Joshua, and Jasmine. He always treated them as if they were his flesh and blood. I will never forget how he touched my family. Darrell, you will never be forgotten. We love you.
