My heart goes out to the entire Troup family and all of his friends who loved him dearly. I have known Dave my whole life, he was like an uncle to me. I remember my stomach would hurt from laughter every time he was around. As a child, I would get so excited when he came to visit... There was never a dull moment! He will be missed dearly by all of us. We should all feel fortunate to know that there is someone up there now watching over us and keeping a smile on our faces. We'll miss you Dave!

I would like to express my sincere condolences to the Troup Family. My prayers are with you. I have wonderful memories of David. We met in 1983 and had about a 10 year relationship. He was a very good person and was always there for me. If I had a problem or a bad day, he always had the right words to say to make what ever problems seem to go away. He amazed me at times, If I had car trouble or something broken he always seem to know just how to fix it. I didn't have to ask he would just do it and before I knew it the problem was solved and we were off having fun. He truly cared about helping people and animals. I have lots of memories of us riding motorcycles, jet ski's and the many many things we did and places we went. He was my best friend. At one time we had a friendship like no other. David had a lot of true friendship type qualities that are very hard to find in people now days. I have often told friends and family through out the years of his good qualities. He had a positive impact on my life. David tought me not be afraid to take chances. I learned so much from him in so many different ways. He was very inteligent and way ahead of the game with his knowledge, skills and abilities. To this day I find myself making comparisons of the quailty and depth of friendships with others that I once had with David. I know he will be missed by so many. May he rest in peace.
