Resident of Martinez
Donald Gordon Bartolini, a resident of Martinez, Ca, died Friday, August 31 at John Muir Medical Center in Concord after a long battle with cancer. He was 60 years old. Donald was born on April 2, 1958, in Martinez, CA where he lived all of his life. He graduated from Alhambra High School and got his BA degree at St. Mary's College of Ca. Donald worked at the Contra Costa County Assessor's Office in Martinez his entire career. He enjoyed raising pigeons, collecting 50's and 60's music, and relaxing at his home.
Donald is preceded in death by his father, Vito Bartolini, and is survived by his mother, Vania Bartolini, and his brother, David, of Martinez.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral service at Connolly and Taylor Chapel, 4000 Alhambra Ave, on Wednesday, September 12th at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice,
