Dear David,
I am so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. She was truly a wonderful woman, I wish I had known her. I remember MYF days at San Bruno United Methodist with you and Dennis. May loving memories of your mom bring you comfort at this time of loss. My mother died 5 years ago and my dad 8 years ago. My younger brother Dan Conrad died 2 months ago. It is hard to lose your family. Enjoy the life you have.
Sincerely, Karen Conrad Morones

Dear McClurg family,
I shall always cherish the sweet memories of your mom and the household in which you grew up. However, I will never forget and am most grateful for the kind care and wisdom she gave to my sisters and I on the night my grandmother died. Your mom was a remarkable lady and she left a legacy of grace that imprinted itself on many. My sincere condolences, Juda*

Edith, one of the most kind, most loving, most giving persons I have ever known. And always with a smile and encouraging words for everyone. The whole McClurg family opened their home to me and my daughter Gretchen. They gave to Gretchen family she wouldn't have had in those important formative years. How fortunate we were -- and are -- to know all of you.

To All of the McClurgs
Your Mom will always hold a special place in my heart. She instilled many good things in my life when I was young. I still enjoy reading most, find going to the library to be a great adventure, want to learn as much as I can about subjects I'm interested in, and remember making cakes from scratch in the kitchen with her. Edith washed my knees when I came home with scrapes, always was "surprised" at what animal had followed me home, allowed my turtles to run free in the backyard, and gave me a family to come home to after school.
I will always cherish the memories I have of her and the love she gave freely. My thoughts are with all of you.
