Edward L. Silva Sept. 12, 1921 - Feb. 8, 2010 Resident of Hayward Edward was born September 12, 1921 and died from cancer at Emeritus Landmark Villa at the age of 88. Survived by sister Violet DeVall of Paradise, CA. Clarence Silva of Lodi, CA. Wilbert Silva of San Francisco, CA. Also survived by his only son, Eddie Silva of Hayward, CA.; stepdaughters Carolyn Case and Joan Abreu of LaGrange, CA. and Darlene Nichols of Pollock Pines, CA.; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Edward was a retired employee of General Motors. He was an avid fan of bowling and auto racing. Please join the family for services honoring Edward's life at Chapel of the Chimes 32992 Mission Blvd.Hayward, CA. 94544. A visitation will be held from 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17.
